Amy Joiner, MSW, CDP

SOCIAL WORKER | CERTIFIED DEMENTIA PRACTITIONER

Amy earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Cal Poly Humboldt and her Master of Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University. Her connection to healthcare began early. At age 15 she began volunteering as a candy striper, an experience that shaped her commitment to patient care.

Amy launched her professional career on Oahu, Hawaii, where she worked with the Kupuna community and co-founded a care management company alongside a former professor. After relocating to San Diego in 2012, she built deep expertise in the home care industry, focusing on dementia care and developing close working relationships with caregivers and community partners. Her dedication to this specialty led her to earn her Dementia Practitioner Certification, and she regularly provides education to caregivers, families, clients, and community members on dementia-related topics.

Amy brings a broad background in nonprofit organizations, home care, social services, and community health to her work as a Social Worker at Boutique Care Management. She is committed to connecting seniors with the resources they need and to supporting clients and their families with dignity and compassion.
